Grading Levels

To help you gauge the difficulty of each journey, we've created the following grading system. However, the grades are to be used as an indication only. If unsure of your suitability, Women of Wander recommends consulting a medical professional.

  1. Relaxed: Maximum distance of 12 km* of easy to moderate terrain covered in a single day. Time in the afternoon to do as you choose. No experience necessary.
     

  2. Active: Maximum distance of 16 km* of easy to moderate terrain covered in a single day. Full day on the trail. Frequent walker, golfer or yogi would be ideal.
     

  3. Challenging: Distances greater than 16 km* travelled in a single day OR difficult terrain covered. Full day on the trail. Hiking experience required.
